My favorite spots to STAY, EAT, SHOP + SEE

San Miguel de Allende! A magical little city that I love dearly. I spent 6 tender months here during 2020 at the height of Covid. It held me in beautiful ways and carved out a special place in my heart. During the time I lived there, I didn’t leave my house much, and hardly anything was open in terms of businesses, so it’s been in my many visits since then that I’ve really gotten to explore and get to know this gem of a place.

About 4 hours from Mexico City, San Miguel is easy and safe to get to by bus. It’s a wonderful place to go for a long weekend. If you want to tack on a few extra days, there is a ton to do in the surrounding area as well. This guide is focused on the center of San Miguel. I’ve included some of my favorite places to STAY, EAT, SHOP and SEE.
