We just moved into a new apartment after over 6 months of searching high and low for the right one. It was an extremely tiring process, but all worth it in the end. I feel like we found the perfect place for us. The price is great, the location is amazing and the apartment is stunning and spacious. We were looking for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, and ended up in a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom for a price significantly less than almost all the 2 bedrooms we were looking at. This gives us room to grow here if/when we start our family, and for now, we have a guest room AND an office, which is a dream come true. The building is from the early 1940s and maintains much of the charm and details of that era including original tile in the kitchen and bathroom and terrazzo in the hallways. The 10-foot ceilings and original windows that overlook our downstairs neighbor’s quiet, lush backyard are the icing on the cake.
I’m slowly designing and decorating the apartment, and I’m having the most fun. I truly love designing spaces, and I pour so much of myself into them. I want our home to be a deep reflection of who we are and what we value. Our home is our sanctuary. A place to feel safe and at peace. I always try to reflect that in the layout and objects I bring into my home. I want my spaces to be warm, inviting, sophisticated and slightly playful. I love spaces that invite the outside in through an interesting mix of natural materials and textures and strategically placed plants.
I work with private clients in a variety of ways to help them design and decorate the spaces in their homes. If you are interested in working with me, please send me an email.
